Nothing surpasses the thrill of race bikes; for enthusiasts who revel in the adrenaline of mountain bike racing, the season ushers in its new full-factory race bike for 2024—and it promises to impress.

The Intense Factory Racing M1 isn't just any bike; it's one bearing the weight of a legendary name in downhill racing.

Crafted from four seasons of rigorous development at the UCI World Cup level, the final production frame has emerged. Despite being called various names during its prototype phase, the significance of the M1 designation cannot be overstated.

Back in the mid-1990s, the original M1 set a new standard for downhill race bikes with its distinctive alloy design and unwavering focus on performance, becoming a benchmark that many competitors sought to emulate. For Jeff Steber, the founder of Intense, choosing to name this bike 'M1' was a decision made with the utmost respect for its profound legacy.
